A visit with local Artist and friend Rosemary Mitchell……

I recently had the pleasure of visiting my lovely friend Rosemary at her home in SE Qld.

Nestled amongst the beautiful sub-tropical forest, her hand-built Earth home is nothing short of inspiring.

She showed me her workshop where she creates the most amazing  things from felt!

I was so inspired by her world I asked her if it would be ok to mention her on my blog and she said yes.

She creates stunning , eco-friendly alternatives for toys, Art dolls, Flowers and much more.   Waldorf inspired,  OOAK,  Made with all natural materials.   She is now selling some of her work in her etsy store and I will pop the link at the bottom for those interested in checking out her work.

These gorgeous Tipi can also be used as a night light with an led placed inside.

Stunning playscapes designed for 3 – 6 children.  There is so much detail in these, they are just so beautiful.

If you have a love for felt or hand crafted toys you will love Rosemary’s work.  Be sure to read her ‘about’ page as it give you some insight into her philosophy and also about the place she creates her stunning pieces.

A big Thankyou to Rosemary for sharing your home with my family and showing us your beautiful craft!
